Can you edit the second sentence though? It makes it sound like you are saying that Marner is the one and only future Leaf, when there are surely more of them.
Should be:
...the one and only, future Leaf Mitchell Marner

I may be jumping the gun, but I truly feel the dark days in Toronto are behind us, and a ‘new leaf’ will sprout next season as the Leafs begin to pick up momentum.
Leafs tend to fall every year. Will be nice to someday worry about losing to the Leafs.
Prediction: Leafs end up picking 4th . |

I agree with those in the hockey circle comparing Marner to Kane. I think he will be as good as if not better than Kane, in a few years time.
Does anyone know for certain if Laine is a RW or LW? Some hockey draft prospect sites list him as RW, & others list him as LW.
Leafs are heavy on RW with their prospects (with Marner's size I think they will play him on RW), but light on LW & Centre. |
